Lego Geek. Coffee Lover. Computer Nerd.
25 years in software engineering, a lifelong love of computers and games, and a serious Pokopia habit. Welcome to my corner of the internet.
I'm a proud husband, father, and lifelong computer geek. Computers have been a passion of mine — from my first BASIC program at age 10, I knew that I was hooked.
I've spent 25 years working in software engineering, and I still love it just as much as day one. Whether it's architecting systems, solving gnarly bugs, or mentoring the next generation of engineers, the craft keeps me energized.
Outside the office you'll find me with a hot cup of coffee, watching a great film, cheering on the Penn State Nittany Lions on game day, or deep in a LEGO build, an Animal Crossing island, or my latest Pokopia obsession. Life is good.
A snapshot of my professional journey, roles, and the companies I've had the pleasure of working with.
Leading software engineering, data & analytics, and innovation at a company reimagining consumer financing technology. Responsible for engineering strategy, team growth, and delivering the platform that powers modern point-of-sale financing.
BioHitech America
Led technology and innovation for a startup fusing IoT with mechanical-biological technology to eliminate food waste in an environmentally friendly way. Helped launch the company and guided it through a successful NASDAQ IPO.
Versatile Systems (now Versatile Credit)
Built the world's first self-service consumer financing kiosk — a foundational product that set the company on the path to becoming Versatile Credit. Twelve years of deep technical ownership over a platform that redefined point-of-sale financing.
EveryBook
Worked at an early-stage startup building one of the first Linux-based electronic book readers — years ahead of its time. Built PDF reading software on a custom Linux platform, helping pioneer a category that the world wasn't quite ready for yet.
AMP Incorporated
First role out of college. Specialized in building software to manage distribution planning and forecasting for one of the world's largest electronics connector manufacturers — a formative experience in enterprise software and supply chain systems.
Things I've built on my own time — experiments, tools, and passion projects.
A clone of the classic Zoop! puzzle game, built over a few weeks as a fun Phaser deep-dive. Match and clear colored pieces before the board fills up!
A quick weekend build to sharpen JavaScript and web skills. A fully playable Sudoku game in the browser — clean, fast, and distraction-free.
A Phaser rewrite of a game I originally coded in college in 1991 — brought back to life during a week-long beach vacation in North Carolina. The original DOS version still lives on the internet!
A collection of custom LEGO builds — from a brick replica of my own home to a set of 8-bit arcade classics rendered entirely in LEGO. Click any image for a closer look.
Animal Crossing is great fun!
My family and I have put over 800 hours into the game, having a blast while building our virtual slice of paradise.

Part Animal Crossing, part Minecraft, part Pokémon — Pokopia is my favorite Nintendo Switch 2 game, and it's been impossible to put down since day one. Build islands, craft gear, and catch 'em all in one gorgeous open world.

All five of my regions have been restored to a Level 10 Environment. The regions are slowly being restored to a greater version of their prior selves. Most importantly, my Pokémon are happy.
206 Pokémon found and catalogued — edging toward a full Pokédex. The Minecraft-style biome system means rare spawns depend on what you build, which makes finding them genuinely exciting.
80% of items and recipes unlocked in just six weeks. The crafting tree goes deep — there's always a new material to mine or a recipe to chase. Placeholder: favorite item or recipe you've unlocked.
